We started getting bills for our builder’s other projects. When my wife called @DukeEnergy in June 2021 they explained they had a new system causing problems. The service person also gave us advice not to transfer the bill until we closed our mortgage.

@anamarylee @DukeEnergy I second this. I can’t wait to hear your excuse on why you are singling out your solar panel customers. We are the one that have helped out the grid from the beginning. All I see is this being a concern for your bottom line and nothing for the environment or your customers.

@NC_Governor @NCDOT @DukeEnergy the cause of 80% of our power outages. The other 20% is lack of tree trimming maintenance. You would think it would be cheaper to trim a tree then have to deal with the damage a falling tree can cause to a powerline/pole.

We paid @DukeEnergy twice for the same power. We have the transactions on our checking account matching the bills to prove it. Every month my wife calls Customer Service gets a promise for a call back from a supervisor to fix this. Nothing happens. Same thing this morning.

@MatchasmMatt @DukeEnergy FLA reduced net meter incentives 66% and raised minimum connection fees 200% for solar. I use ZERO power. Methinks the **tens of thousands** of new apartments that went up within a few miles of my house could more than supply the cost of "grid maintenence"

I hate @DukeEnergy with a passion. Thanks for cutting the power to the house all day AGAIN with zero notice. You’re only 3 months late taking the rotten power pole out of our backyard. 3 months of an extension cord tethering us to the neighbors house too. This should be illegal!
